Old Town San Diego State Historic Park and Fiesta De Reyes proudly presents "A Taste of Old Town." A ticket will enable you to go one a self guided tour where you will receive a sample from:Casa De reyes, Barra Barra, The Cosmopolitan Hotel, El Patio, Cousins Candy, Viva El Café, Hot Licks,
RUST General Store, The San Diego House, Hacienda De Las Rosas and La Panderia.
The Tasting of Old Town Self-guided Tour featuring historically based foods from a number of the food purveyors in the park. The event focuses on the foods of early San Diego during the mid-1800s and how they reflected the many cultural influences of that time. Demonstrations of various historical food preparations will be taking place in the plaza. Because of the limited number of tickets we recommend you purchase tickets in advance.Tickets will be picked up the of the event at the Robinson Rose Building. Proceeds from the sale of the tickets will go to the refurbishing of the food preparation and cooking exhibits at the park's Machado Silvas Museum.
