Philharmonic Orchestra of Indianapolis May 17, 2020 Concert
We are excited to be moving toward our 80th Season! As we evaluate ourselves, we are taking stock and pushing on, giving you The Grand Finale to our 79th Season!
With a bit of virtuosic symphony display, the Philharmonic brings its 2019-2020 subscription season to a close with the epic story of One Thousand and One Nights, told by Russian composer Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov in his orchestral masterpiece "Scheherazade."
The first half of our concert is also remarkable as we continue to yearly celebrate the composition winners of the Indiana Music Educators annual Composition Competition. We love working with these young middle school and high school composers.
So, thank you for being here for this Grand Finale to our 79th Season, as we Take stock and push on to our 80th! We hope you'll join us!
