Swingin' for NJW
On Wednesday, September 4 at 7pm, members of the Nashville Jazz Workshop instrumental faculty will put on a special performance in the Workshop's Jazz Cave.
NJW teachers, also world class players, have organized this event as a fundraiser for the with all proceeds from ticket sales going to support the Workshops Annual Fund!
Confirmed so far are: Don Aliquo, Chris Brown, Evan Cobb, Mel Deal, Matt Endahl, Rod McGaha, Lori Mechem, Dann Sherrill, Denis Solee, Roger Spencer, and Chester Thompson. Others will likely be added.
The performance begins at 7:00 pm in the Jazz Cave at the Workshop. Tickets go on sale Monday, August 26 at 10am, and are $25 ($15 for high school and college students). Advance purchase is strongly recommended. Tickets are available online from brownpapertickets.com and are also available by phone at 800-838-3006 24/7 or 615-242-5299 during business hours. A small convenience charge is added to online or telephone purchases.
Policies: The Jazz Cave is a BYOB establishment, with no alcohol or food service. You are free to bring alcoholic beverages and snacks. We sell soft drinks and bottled water. The Jazz Cave is a listening room, and we ask patrons to keep conversation to a minimum and silence cell phones. Audio and video recording is prohibited. Ticket sales are final.
The Nashville Jazz Workshop is a nonprofit organization offering classes for all ages, instruments, and levels, public performances, and special events for the community. The Jazz Workshop is located in the Neuhoff Complex at the end of Monroe Street in East Germantown.
