Zero Weeks with Maine Women's Lobby Education Fund
Tues Sept 24 | 6:30pm General Admission | $8
Come join the Maine Women's Lobby Education Fund for a screening of the groundbreaking film Zero Weeks, a film that reveals the desperate lack of Paid Family and Medical Leave in the United States and why it is such an important service to provide. As both the oldest state in the country and one that is trying hard to attract young families and skilled workers, Maine has a multitude of communities that would benefit from a strong Paid Family and Medical Leave system. The screening of Zero Weeks will be followed by a discussion with local advocates and experts on the status of Paid Leave in Maine and what we can do to push for a more comprehensive system in our state.
