2019 OpenMRS Implementers' Conference
This is the 13th OpenMRS Implementers conference, the 7th in Africa and the 2nd to be held in Mozambique.
The meeting aims to bring health care professionals and OpenMRS implementers together to collaborate, share implementation experiences and discover new ways to improve OpenMRS.
The 2019 Conference Program is expected to be thought provoking and dynamic with conventional conference, unconferencing session styles and site visits. Keynote speeches reflecting a more practical approach to implementing electronic medical records systems will be made by key local and global health informatics contributors.
Objectives
This conference seeks to look into:
Supporting the Ministry of Health and leveraging country communities of practice to strengthen maintainability and sustainability of OpenMRS implementations
Harmonising OpenMRS technologies, versions and distributions for data management and decision support across healthcare facilities and services
Maturing OpenMRS implementations from data entry to point of care
