Daniel Market and Jim Abraham
Jim Abrahams funky electric bass gives a fresh feeling to the sound. Jim has been playing the bass guitar since he was 13 years old. He spent four years with the West Virginia Wesleyan Jazz Ensemble, which included a tour of Russia, Romania, and the Ukraine.
After finishing up his education with a B.S. in Engineering Physics, he came west to Colorado State University to pursue an M.S in Radiation Health Science. During that time, he spent 2 years with the CSU Jazz Ensemble. In 2003, he received a scholarship to study at the Bass Collective in New York City.
A diverse player, he has recorded multiple projects including the styles of funk, jazz, R&B, celtic, Christian rock, bluegrass and folk. His current projects include the Vi Wickam Band, Paul Chet and Friends, Lalla Rookh, and Meadowlark Jivin.
