COM is being Proactive! Beginning March 6, 2020, a large team from SERVPRO has been at the Kentfield and Indian Valley Campuses to clean doors (inside/outside/handles), theatres, and bathrooms. The team has had full access to all spaces at the Kentfield and Indian Valley Campuses.
These deep-cleaning and disinfecting efforts that have and will continue to take place are proactive measures to help keep students, faculty, staff, community members, and visitors to our campuses as safe and healthy as possible. College staff are working hard to provide the cleanest environment we can, under the circumstances.
It is important to remember that everyone in our campus community has a role and responsibility in these efforts. To reinforce the recommendations that have been sent out to the campus community over the past few weeks:
Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, then use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. Avoid shaking hands. Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Stay home when you are sick. Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue or your sleeve, not your hands. Thank you!
