Cover charge: $20 advance purchase online; $25 cash at door

Evangelia Kingsley is a multi-disciplinary artist. She acts, she sings, she writes plays (her last play, Simple Gifts, was an ONeill Finalist). She was seen as Signora Naccarelli in the First National Tour of "Light in the Piazza" as well as in the Choir in Broadway's Coram Boy. Her previous jaunt on Broadway was in Puccinis La Bohème, directed by Baz Luhrmann. She also appeared in Encores production of Zorba! She has performed off-Broadway, regionally, in musicals, in straight plays, in operas, at Carnegie Hall, in Beaune, France with Les Talens Lyriques. And she happily performs in cabaret with Chip Prince.
Chip Prince is a pianist, singer, conductor, vocal coach, amateur euphoniumist, and compulsive folk dancer with vain aspirations of ever earning enough money to retire comfortably in Paris. No, wait, Palm Springs. Selected Broadway and touring credits include Ragtime, La Bohème, Coram Boy, Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, Mary Poppins, Porgy and Bess, Newsies, and A Gentlemans Guide to Love and Murder. Oh, and he happily performs in cabaret with Evangelia Kingsley.
Mark Dundas Wood of Bistro Awards said, "Evangelia Kingsley's program zigzags between Bea Lillie-worthy zaniness and explorations of dark, somber themes. Kingsley has the authoritative stage presence to pull it all into a cohesive whole . . ."
David Finkle of Backstage said, Im still thinking about the hilarious yet subtle drunk she threw during the William Bolcom-Arnold Weinstein At the Last Lousy Moments of Love. He called her, [d]ark, fleshy, sexy, and proudly Greek and ended his enthusiastic review of her NY cabaret debut with . . . shes good enough for an audience to want to hear plenty more.
The Boston Globe said Evangelia is effective, and impassioned, the Star-Ledger called her riveting, and the Princeton Packet said Kingsley is a marvel.
