The Either/Orchestra Rides Again
Doors open at 7:30 Sets at 8:30 and 10:15
After 30 or so years of nearly continuous activity, the Either/Orchestra has taken the last two years off. Since the then, two more "band babies" have been born to Messers Rosenthal and Zaleski (another one on the way) and collectively, the members have played thousands of other gigs...just to keep sharp.
Now it's time to crank up the big machine once again, and what better place to do it than in our home base, Accurate Records.
We'll be playing selections from our vast catalog of recorded and unrecorded works, along with a new thing or two.
As usual for performances at Accurate Records, food and beverages will be served, and you are encouraged to also BYO to liven the party. Bandleader and chief kitchen wench Russ G is leaning toward a reprise of the Ethiopian doro wot (chicken stew), gomen wot (collard greens) lentils and injera (Ethiopian pancake bread) that he served at the recent Ethiopian music show at Accurate.
Accurate is a small space, and this event is likely to sell out, so please buy your tickets in advance. There will be seating for all, unlike the Lookie Lookie dance parties that many of you may have attended.
For the first time, we are reserving the three seats on the leather couch and chair. VIP, baby - get em quick! And there are a limited number of tickets available at the lowest price point, so don't dawdle.
