Drink, Talk, Learn- a benefit for the Millvale Community Library
Drink, Talk, Learn (DTL) is a Powerpoint party where you deliver three minute presentations on something you want to share/inform/tell/rant about while the rest of us drink, eat, and learn.
This newly popular event is a Fundraiser for the Millvale Community Library in celebration of Love Your Library Month. Come hang out, drink, talk, and learn something new!
Saturday, September 28th from 6-9 pm at Millvale Community Library
Admission:
$10 if presenting
$15 if watching
Mocktails and finger food provided with a BYOB option, if you would like to add to the mocktails.
*THIS IS AN OVER 21 EVENT, everyone will be carded at the door
There are twelve slots for presentations. You can bring a file, or your laptop to plug in, but also visuals are encouraged.
Rules for the game are:
1. You must present for 3 minutes. Your slides cannot be on a timer. If they are, you will be disqualified.
2. For every minute you go over, you must chug down a bubbly (or alcoholic) drink before you can continue your presentation. This will continue every minute until you finish
3. Costumes related to your topic are encouraged and rewarded
4. Witty but brief heckling is allowed
5. If heckling is neither witty nor brief, you will be forced to chug your drink or if you are out, a bubbly drink
