After working in the Milwaukee / Chicago, IL areas for a few years, Steve relocated to New York City in 2004. That same year, he was selected as a finalist to compete in the national jazz piano competition sponsored by the American Pianists Association in Indianapolis, IN.

In addition to performing at venues in and around NYC, he has also played at clubs and jazz festivals across the country and around the world. He has had the great privilege of sharing the stage with many superb musicians over the years, including Marlena Shaw, Eric Alexander, Jim Rotondi, Dr. Eddie Henderson, Brian Lynch, Killer Ray Appleton, Ian Hendrickson-Smith, Slide Hampton, and many more.

Steve's latest recording for Cellar Live records - ARRIVAL - is now available for purchase. This effort features some of NYC's finest musicians Paul Gill on bass and Pete Van Nostrand on drums.
