College Football Kickoff

Are you ready for some football!!!

The Kitsap Athletic Roundtable and our event sponsors Sound Pest Control and Sterling Property Group-Kevin Dahl Broker will get your 2019 season off to a rousing start with two former Pac-12 quarterbacks UWs Damon Huard and WSUs Alex Brink to talk Dawgs' and Cougs' the Pac-12 and the Apple Cup.

Alex Brink was a 3 time all PAC-10 Quarterback, setting records for career touchdowns and passing yards. He is the only QB in WSU history to win 3 Apple Cups. He is currently an analyst on the Cougar Football Broadcast.

Damon Huard was the starting QB for the University of Washington from 1993-1995, he finished his career as the Huskies all-time passing leader with 5,692 yards. He played in the NFL from 1997-2009, playing for the Bengals, Dolphins, Patriots, and the Chiefs. He is currently the Color Commentator on the UW Radio Broadcast and is the Director of Community Relations and Fundraiser for UW, he also owns a winery with Dan Marino called Passing Time.

Joining Damon and Alex will be former North Mason High School and former Washington State University Lineman John Fullington. John played for the Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals and New Orleans Saints during a 4 year NFL career. John is now a teacher at North Mason High School and will be on the Football coaching staff. He will give some insight on what it was like to play for Mike Leach.

Join us for the fun on August 28 at Kitsap Golf & Country Club at 6 p.m. Admission is $30 for non-KAR members ($25 for KAR members) and includes dinner. All funds go directly to supporting youth and amateur athletics in Kitsap County.
