THE RAILS - acoustic
The Rails is Kami Thompson (daughter of Richard and Linda) and James Walbourne (guitarist with The Pogues and The Pretenders [yes, those Pretenders]) playing modern (and some traditional-ish) acoustic folk with beautifully blended harmonies and brilliant guitar. Theyll be in the middle of a tour with gigs in the UK, east coast US, a bunch of gigs opening for Rufus Wainwright, as well as the Americana fest in Nashville right after playing here. And their new album Cancel the Sun which they made with Stephen Street (The Smiths, Blur) will be released August 16th. This is a rare and special treat to see them in this intimate setting. Excited!
