Each month, the Maine Songwriters Association presents Songwriters on Stage, a showcase of some of the best songwriters Maine has to offer. The show typically features three seasoned performers and an emerging songwriter to kick the evening off. Its an opportunity for listeners to discover new music or come hear local favorites in one of the best listening rooms in Maine. This season premiere will feature three seasoned performers: Scott Woodruff, Sara Trunzo, Charles Bernier, and Emerging Artist, Stephanie Atkins.

Mid-coast Maine singer/songwriter Scott Woodruff relies on simple melodies and reflective lyrics to bring you his perspective on life, which will strike a reminiscent chord within listeners.

Maine singer/songwriter Sara Trunzo has a deep, abiding love for the land and people of the rural Northeast and whose writing is an empowering manifesto on self-sufficiency and perseverance.

For more than twenty-five years Maine native singer-songwriter Charles Bernier has performed up and down New Englands coast, whos original music is playing on 28 radio and 6 TV stations, most recently a televised concert at the Boothbay Opera House.

Emerging Artist Stephanie Atkins is a life long Mainer whos first song, Skinny Jean Bonfire, was featured on WCLZs Music from 207, and received honorable mention in the Songdoor International Songwriting competition.
