A MESSAGE
The Arabian Shakespeare Festival is pleased to produce the English language and American premier of A MESSAGE by the "Godfather of Kuwaiti Theatre," Dr. Hussain Al Musalam, adapted by Dr. Matthew Spangler. The play follows an unlikely group of soldiers and survivors as they explore what it is to live in harmony with each other and the world around them. A MESSAGE is a comedy about social and religious tolerance while trying to survive in the wilds. It asks the questions, what is Democracy? What is Civilization?
ASF launches its inaugural domestic season, after two seasons of performing Shakespeare in the Middle East. A MESSAGE has been carefully translated and adapted after a successful run at the Kuwaiti Theatre Festival.
