9th Annual Heirloom TomatoFare at Cedarbrook Lodge
Cedarbrook Lodge's 9th annual Heirloom TomatoFare will showcase the abundant harvest of heirloom tomatoes in the Pacific Northwest. Guests will have the opportunity to sample heirloom tomatoes, as well as heirloom tomato-inspired dishes prepared by some of the top Pacific Northwest chefs! Stay tuned for the complete line-up of award-winning chefs. Heirloom tomatoes will also be available for purchase.
Don't miss out on the soulful Americana, roots and blues from acclaimed singer-songwriter Sheryl Wiser + The Lost Lovers (sherylwiser.com) as they perform live!
"Wiser's music is sharp and clean, featuring her sweet, powerful voice tempered by rich, stunning melody. Her music compels you to listen, and as you're drawn into the web she weaves of thoughts and feelings and ideas, you find yourself walking on edge of a quick wit sharpened with water-deep emotions. Wiser writes emotional, rhythmically stirring songs and delivers them with genuine passion. She is a gifted singer and songwriter." - The Seattle Times
Joining us for the festivities will be artisan growers Gene and Geri Prentice and John and Nancy Bromiley, who provide Copperleaf with their heirloom tomatoes. Each spring the Prentices offer over 45 varieties of unique and unusual tomato seedlings. The Bromileys have over 430 tomato plants at their one-acre Moses Lake mini-farm, where they also raise squash, cabbage, corn, and cucumbers which are all served at Copperleaf.
