The Joy of Cheese Preesents Cheeses of Spain, Portugal and Colorado (yes, that Colorado)
This is way beyond Manchego.
Spain and Portugal have some of the most unique cheeses made in Europe. Their flavors are rich and diverse and their cheeses often have a distinctive roasted green vegetable finish.
Oh, so how does Colorado fit in?
Some of the best new American cheeses are being made in Colorado and they are taking their cues from Spanish cheesemakikng.
With each our five pairings of cheese, we will serve a sample size of wine from the wonderful Nectar Wine Bar nenu.
Please join us at Nectar Wine Bar, 2235 Frederick Douglas Blvd (aka Eighth Avenue) at 1:30 on September 21st and at 6:30 on the 24th for a tasting of great Iberian cheeses and a couple from Colorado. Tickets are $50, and the events last approximately 90 minutes.
