Mill Valley Philharmonic - Open Dress Rehearsal.
Mill Valley Philharmonic opens its 20th Anniversary Season under new Artistic Director Dana Sadava in a program of Romantic era favorites, including Faure's "Peleas et Melisande," Beethoven's two Romances for Violin & Orchestra, and Sibelius' Symphony #1 in E Minor. Award-winning violinist Tom Stone will be the soloist.
Patrons should be aware that this is an Open Dress Rehearsal and while there will be every attempt to perform compositions from beginning to end, there might be a few occasions when the conductor chooses to stoop briefly and rehearse a particular section.
