Join us at Rast Space for performances by The Complex, Impromptu Improv, & Manacle!

The Complex:
The Complex follows inhabitants of three different apartments and allows you to see how they live, love and fight.

Impromptu Improv:
Impromptu is an improv troupe that specializes in creating unscripted plays set during the post-WWII era (1940s-60s). The post-WWII era was a time of drama, passion, critical world events, and the celebration of family. Theatre was rich with emotional stories, as were the times. Impromptu taps into those eras and brings audiences an exciting theatrical experience - improvised from the moment we receive an audience suggestion. It's exciting and exhilarating! Come join us!

Manacle:
Manacle creates an improvised short play based on a story found in the audience. Eric and Aden take a few minutes at the top of every show to interview a real-life couple sitting in the crowd. Using their information, Manacle improvises a theatrically crafted performance that, complete with leads and with supporting characters, gives you a voyeuristic glimpse into the audience couples feelings, experiences and history. Whoever they get the story from, Manacle strives to give you a stage performance that feels as though each moment has been blocked, scripted, choreographed and rehearsed while still finding ways to surprise, break and delight each other.
