Sunday Dinner featuring Markeith Wiley
Back by Popular Demand, SUNDAY DINNER hosted by curator DANI TIRRELL with guest Markeith Wiley.
Each month we are bringing the community together for food and conversation, as we celebrate some of the most inspirational Black folx in Arts and Culture. We will enjoy food catered by some of Seattle's most sought after and talented Black chefs.
We are still working on the Chef for this event.
Doors open at 1:30 pm.
Tickets are just $20 / Students $10! We want everyone to be able to join us at the table.

About the Featured Guest: Markeith Wiley California native Markeith Wiley is a multi-dimensional art maker, who creates out of necessity. His vast movement vocabulary spans a lifetime of influences. As of late this anti-social extrovert dabbles in dance, sound, theater, a combo of all three or none of the above. Wiley has been an arts educator in Seattle for a while now. When they are not in the studio you can find Markeith at Rainier Dance Center in Rainier Beach or on Capitol Hill as a managing artist director at Studio Current or choreographing with both Seattle Childrens Theatre & 5th Avenue Theatre.
Markeith holds a BFA in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts and has performed or collaborated with too many national/international artist to name. In the evenings Wiley hosts a DJ event at Vermillion Art Gallery & Bar with fellow music enthusiast Alice Gosti and has started a monthly performance party at Studio Current called SC Sessions. Wiley was a member of the 2014 City Arts Future List & also graced the cover of the magazine in 2016.
About the Host/Curator: DANI TIRRELL Dance artist, performer, choreographer and dance educator. Dani has danced with Jazz and Spirit Dance Theater of Detroit, Monroe Ballet Company, Full Circle Dance Company, Natural Locz Dance Company and Dani Tirrell Dance Theater that he founded and serves as Artistic Director. Dani also created Color Lines Dance Ensemble for youth dance artist ages 12 to 18. As a performer Dani has performed on countless stages and festivals throughout the world. Dani's latest work "Black Bois" premiered at On the Boards (Seattle) in April 2018.
