Founded by dancer Lindsey Bourassa in 2013, Bourassa Dance Studio is dedicated to cultivating a community of flamenco artists in Maine. The 2019 Student Showcase will feature the works of Maine's growing flamenco dance community, with solo and group performances of traditional and contemporary flamenco, with choreographies by 2019 MSA Mission Award Recipient Lindsey Bourassa and world-renown flamenco dancer Miguel Vargas, among others. Performances will feature styles such as Tientos, Fandangos de Huelva, Bulerias and many, many more.
