Play "The Roommate" at the Orcas Island Grange
The Actors Theater of Orcas Island will present three performances of "The Roommate by Jen Silverman at the Orcas Grange at 7:30 pm on July 26th 27th and the 28th.
Sharon (played by Pat Ayers), in her mid-fifties, is recently divorced and needs a roommate to share her Iowa home. Robyn (played by Aaimee Johnson), also in her mid-fifties, needs a place to hide and a chance to start over. But as Sharon begins to uncover Robyns secrets, they encourage her own deep-seated desire to transform her life completely. A dark comedy about what it takes to re-route your life and what happens when the wheels come off.
This readers theater production may be unsuitable for younger children.
Tickets are $10 and are available on-line and at the door.
