Its 1927 and the curtain is going up on Broadways
illustrious Cavendish clan: three generations of acting
royalty as they prepare for matriarch Fanny Cavendishs
farewell tour, while her leading lady daughter,Julie, chooses between a dinner date and a first rehearsal
and matinee idol brother, Tony, is on the lam for slugging a Hollywood director. Meanwhile, Fanny's granddaughter, Gwen, is thinking the unthinkable
leaving the stage to marry a stockbroker!
