After the Civil War, Americans saw conflict as a right of passage. When the United States became embroiled in the Spanish-American and Philippine-American Wars, young men from Minnesota marched away to fulfill their destiny, as they were told. By the time they came back, they had been forgotten. Come hear the story of the 13th Minnesota Regiment and their trials in the Pacific. Well also share Museum collections related to these soldiers, including pages from the diary of fallen soldier Sidney Pratt.
