Joe Heitz was a pioneer and champion of Napa Valley wine. Since 1961, he has focused on making exceptional wines from singular sites farmed by talented and honest people.
Educated at UC-Davis and trained by André Tchelistcheff, Joe was destined to make history. In 1966, he bottled the Martha's Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon, the first single-vineyard bottling in Napa. This wine set the stage for other such famous bottlings, and has become the benchmark against which other similar wines are measured.
Please join us as Master Sommelier Carlton McCoy, president and CEO of Heitz Cellar, expounds the merits of a broad selection of world-class wines that will complement a menu crafted by Chef Rogelio Garcia. Guests will also have an opportunity to purchase featured wines for their own cellars.
