DRACULA
Evil has a face.......Evil has a name.......
DRACULA
This play is the stage adaptation of the famous novel by Bram Stoker.
Dr. John Seward runs a sanitarium outside of London. He lives on the grounds with his wife, Mary and their young daughter, Lucy. When Lucy's friend comes to stay she falls mysteriously ill, grows weaker, and finally dies of apparent anemia. Suddenly, Lucy is stricken with the same symptoms. They call upon their old and learned friend, Professor Van Helsing, to assist in caring for Lucy and to find a cure. He diagnoses a incredible cause of her illness- one that carries a terrible prognosis and a similarly terrifying cure. The forces of good combine in fierce battle against ultimate evil as they fight to protect their very lives and to preserve what is most precious to them.
Stoker's seminal tale of horror and mystery has been the subject of many films, innumerable stories, and countless portrayals of the famous vampire. It now comes live on the stage of The Vail-Leavitt Music Hall in Riverhead, NY.
