Urban Renewal blends a mixture of 70s funk with West African polyrhythms. The group features high energy vocals, a tight rhythm section, with some kickin horns and percussion. This band is a blast and lots of fun. Expect a dance floor and a very party feel!
We had them here at the Guthrie Center last year and everyone had a really great time. Needless to say, when they became available this summer, we fit them into the schedule. We didn't want to miss an opportunity to have these folks back here again! All proceeds benefit the Guthrie Center.
