Merrily We Roll Along: In Concert
Welcome to one of Stephen Sondheim's most richly entertaining musicals presented in a special in-concert reading. Merrily is about the friendship of three young artists a composer, lyricist and writer and what happens when the composer's idealism is challenged by the temptations of money and fame. The story unfolds going backwards over more than 20 years, and the score includes three classics: "Not a Day Goes By," "Good Thing Going" and the stirring "Our Time." This musical, which asks us to reflect on the choices we've made in our own lives, has been a favorite of Sondheim fans since its Broadway debut in 1981.
