After eleven years and five albums of pure, glitter soaked disco-metal, NYCs TRAGEDY: ALL METAL TRIBUTE TO THE BEE GEES & BEYOND has turned their attention to the silver screen. Tragedy Goes To The Movies features metal-injected takes on music from cinema classics such as Grease, 007 Skyfall, Hair, & Star Wars: Return of The Jedi.
You may openly love/hate disco or metal. You may secretly love/hate disco or metal. But, you will definitely love Tragedy and their bombastic mix of music, glitter and magic.

Born out of the impenetrable divide of Disco and Metal, these fearsome brothers fearlessly obliterated the truce line that had been set in the great Disco/Metal Peace accord of 1977 when they seamlessly blended the two genres with their debut album, We Rock Sweet Balls and Can Do No Wrong - a collection of Bee Gees songs redone in a heavy metal treatment reminiscent of Judas Priest, Motley Crue and Guns N Roses. Since then, they have crisscrossed the globe with their spectacular live shows and having stormed across the USA, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France and Switzerland. Subsequent full length albums, Humbled By Our Greatness, Death To False Disco Metal, The Solo Albums, The Joy of Sex and Tragedy Goes to the Movies have seen them spread their glittered wings to take on non Bee Gees classics from the disco era, soft rock anthems and party jams.In 2015, Tragedy broke the internet with a viral video featuring their take on You're the One That I Want from the Grease soundtrack. In 2017, Tragedy's video for Stayin' Alive broke the internet once again.

And after hearing Joetowns catalog of releases, there couldnt be a better description of what lies within. Featuring scratchy-yet-powerful, whiskey-soaked vocals that bring to mind the late great Bon and the over-the-top testosterone rock of early Van Halen, Joetown continues to win over fans of both of these legendary artists.
Hailing from Wallingford, Connecticut, Joetown (who also goes by the name of Joe Delaney) started on the six-string at eleven years old. After cutting his teeth in Hollywood with sold out shows on the strip and a deal with TNT Records St Thomas, nationwide tour and radio success, Joe set off on his own. The band Joetown was formed in 1994, and released 3 full length offering in 4 years including Rock n Roll Man , an album best described by one fan, who proclaimed, This is what rock and roll is all about - dirty, mean and nasty! Joetown can be heard on many hit TV Series such as RIDE with Norman Reedus from the Waking Dead and the FX hit series, The Shield. Bad Boy Brands claimed People Who Rock as the corporate theme song for their licensing group of lifestyle attire, eyewear, and beverages for many years. Delaney was also featured with world renowned shredder, Jimi Bell on Its So Easy: A Millennium Tribute to Guns N Roses, compilation on Versailles Records. Several Joetown videos including GO!, Change and The Wheel have aired on VH1 and MTV, and the groups last release, Pills and Ammo, was previewed with a track on Metal Edges annual CD sampler and an depth review and interview in a later issues. Onstage Joetown has shared the stage with many of Rocks top acts such as Blue Oyster Cult, Dick Dale, Ratt, Poison, Triumph, Motorhead, Warrant, Lita Ford, Earl Slick and tons of others.
Often considered one of rocks best kept secrets, Joetown has had enough of hearing this so-called compliment, and aims to do everything in his power to shed this tag. Im tired of being called one of rocks best kept secretswith that said, Im guilty of hibernating in the studio and being so consumed that I overlook too much of the business side of my career. Ive assembled a great team of seasoned players and professionals that believe in the music and I see their role and goal as making me a secret no more. As evidenced by the raw and rocking songs from his extensive catalog, it will be impossible to keep Joetown under wraps much longer.
