Folk All Y'all: An Evening with Kalyn Fay
NOTE: THIS SHOW HAS BEEN MOVED FROM AUGUST 17 to SEPTEMBER 21, 2019.
Oklahoma-bred songwriter Kalyn Fay has a voice that commands rapt attention, whether filling a theater or piercing the din of a dive bar. Fays lived more than her share of life: She's loved and lost, voraciously pursued higher education, questioned her faith, walked the line between her upbringing and her Cherokee roots, and figured out how to process and express all that through her art. All of this is evident when she sings. Her candid lyrics reflect with a measured sorrow; they know when to say thank you, goodbye, or nothing at all. When Kalyn Fay sings, the warmth of her voice entrusts her story to all those who will listen.
About Folk All Y'all: Our mission is to present world-class singer-songwriters in an intimate, attentive environment. Our guests and artists are here to connect and do not distract themselves or other guests with photography, recording, or other diversions during the show. We are entirely volunteer-run and 100% of ticket sales go directly to the artist.
