Harbor Patrol plus Cement Ship
A Rock, Reggae, and Hip Hop Fusion meets Americana Soul and Beach Folk Booty Shaking Dance
Fri. Aug 23 at 9pm $10 adv./$10 door Dance ages 21 +
Harbor Patrol: Harbor Patrol has a single mission - bring good vibes, dope beats, and a fun party atmosphere to the masses. Formed in 2017, Harbor Patrol consists of five veterans of the Santa Cruz music scene. For the past 15 years, the members of Harbor Patrol have been rocking the local scene in bands such as Wooster, Epicure, Fire Peach, Vendretti, and Ninth of Never. Harbor Patrols sound fuses rock, reggae, and hip-hop in a unique blend guaranteed to get your booty shaking on the dance floor. Rest assured - Harbor Patrol is on duty, keeping the musical waters of Santa Cruz safe and sound.
Cement Ship was launched on January 1st, 2017 in Santa Cruz, California by singer/songwriter Tim Brady, just three weeks before the SS Palo Alto (the bands namesake) was torn apart by heavy storm waves. The music is inspired by the sea and its dynamic nature. The acoustic guitar style and singing tone from Tim can fit a wide array of genres, but maintains a natural and stripped down approach for the sound. Honest and raw, sweet and smoky. It has been described as Americana Soul and Beach Folk. Less then two years after playing it's first show, Cement Ship won 2019 NEXTies 'Band of the Year' for Event Santa Cruz, and have played shows in various states in the USA as well as shows in England.
