Music For Human Rights
4pm Doors, 5pm Concert
On August 11th, New York City based musicians will come together for a one-of-a-kind benefit concert in support of the ACLU's work to protect immigrant rights. As a response to the atrocities committed at the southern border, we will unite to celebrate our shared humanity and raise funds to bring dignity and justice to this country's newest migrants. The jazz community is one comprised of many immigrants. This concert is both a show of solidarity and a call to support the important work of the ACLU.
"But were not just responding to the moment were building for immigrant justice in the future. The ACLU is a nationwide organization, with an on-the-ground presence in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. Because we have a vibrant presence in every state, we at the ACLU are not only able to push back against abuses and litigate, but also work to enact pro-immigrant rights laws." - ACLU
