Greg Silsby (formerly front man for renowned bluegrass band Cumberland Gap) is a long, tall drink of mountain water, with a tenor voice that cuts through the air like a sharpened wing. Hes not smooth, he doesnt croon or wail, but his pitch is precise and his feel for original and traditional American material is convincing.
