Meadowlark Music Festival Returns to Helena September 7 Proceeds to Benefit the Friendship Center
The Meadowlark Music Festival returns to Womens Park in Helena for the third year with 50% of the proceeds going to The Friendship Center. This 10-hour festival takes place Saturday, September 7, 2019 and will feature live music, market vendors, local food and drink along with daytime activities for children.
The 2019 lineup features a diverse range of acts from gypsy jazz to latin-inspired folk originating from Montana, Colorado and Oregon. Festival headliner Hillstomp based out of Portland, Oregon plays folk music in its purest form from loud and gritty, to intricate and poignant, and always heartfelt and true. Festival attendees can also dance in the grass to hot swing and deep trance grooves by Banshee Tree of Boulder, Colorado.
Food trucks, microbrews, cider and cocktails, games and musicians from Montana will round out the festival as well as performances by Los Marvelitos, REDS, Dammit Lauren & the Well, OULA, Nightcare, Dogjam, and Tammie Jones.
Pre-sale tickets are $12 and are available at the Blackfoot River Brewery, Hawthorn Bottle Shop & Tasting Room and online at www.meadowlarkhelena.com Tickets will be $15 the day of the event.
Come out to celebrate the things that bring us together as a community; music, food, games and being present with each other.
