The Cult of a Chef
Chicago's restaurant scene has never been hotter! Our city's chefs are sizzling with national recognition, capturing coveted James Beard Foundation awards and winning Bravo's Top Chef competition this season. The Chicago Chapter is presenting a conversational interview featuring JBF award winner Carrie Nahabedian (Naha restaurant) for Best Chef: Great Lakes, and Top Chef winner Stephanie Izard. Leading the discussion is William Rice, former food & wine columnist of the Chicago Tribune and JBF past-chair of the Restaurant Awards and Who's Who in Food & Beverage in America committees. Following the conversation, there will be a Q & A opportunity for attendees plus a wine and appetizer reception. Location: Blackbird restaurant upstairs salon; 619 W. Randolph St. in Chicago. Valet parking available.
