Fall Colors at Lakewood
Take in the beautiful fall colors while you learn about the history, art and gardens at Lakewood Cemetery.
Trolley tours are approximately 45-minutes long and cover the founding and history of Lakewood, famous "residents," gardens and artistic monuments -- all with spectacular views of the cemetery. Cost for the trolley tour is $10. Seating is limited on the trolleys, so we encourage you to buy tickets in advance.
From 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. that day, you can also enjoy a free cup of apple cider and see Lakewood's "Minneapolis at 150" history exhibit for free, no ticket required. You can also explore the grounds using our free self-guided walking tour brochure or one of eight tours available on the Lakewood mobile app.
Parking & details: This event will be held in rain or shine at the Lakewood Garden Mausoleum, which is located by taking a sharp right after entering the cemetery's front gates. Signage will be available. Parking is available along roads near the building. Handicap parking will be available nearest the building.
All tickets for the trolley tour are will-call. To check in for your tour, visit the welcome table which will be located in front of the Garden Mausoleum building (or inside the foyer if rain).
