Folk, Fiddle and Fjord: Music from the Heart of Norway
Norway's culture is immersed in a long history of folk art. The music takes the form of virtuosic fiddle music, songs and hymns. Choral singing, from the village to the concert hall, is a strong tradition, attracting most of Norway's finest composers, especially Edvard Grieg.
