Mittie's Song

The Plaza Playhouse Theater is pleased to present "Mittie's Song". An original play written by Jimmie Cantrell and directed by Asa Olsson, based on the life of Jimmie Cantrell.

"You will laugh, you will cry, you will leave the theater knowing that no matter what life throws at you --- YOU CAN MAKE IT."

This Appalachian style drama is driven in part by its music, as it was in the 1940's, 50's and beyond.
Dramatically telling the story of one woman's courage - Mittie Cooper. Starring Shannon Saleh as Mittie and featuring the original grass roots music of Jimmie Ray and Cyndi Cantrell.

Mittie's Song will be on stage Friday, August 23 and Saturday, August 24 at 7 pm and there will be a special matinee on Sunday, August 25 at 2 pm. Tickets are $15 General Admission, $12 for Seniors and are available online, at Curious Cup Bookstore and at the theater box office.
