PROSPECT/THE NEXT DAY
PROSPECT After a chance encounter with a mysterious woman at Prospect Park, a Brooklyn photographer is drawn into a world that may or may not be all in his head. Directed by Derrick Perry, 2012, 12 min, USA, Short, English
THE NEXT DAY Will and Desire' meet at a bar and have a one night stand. That first night Will won't know that Desire' is a little crazy or that she's been abused by men in the past. She won't tell him that she never had a relationship with her father and as a result she feels a little empty and may look to a man to fill that void. Will is never going to tell Desire' that he doesn't really know how to be in a relationship because his parents divorced when he was young and he's never seen a relationship work other than on television or in movies so he avoids relationships. Three months after the initial hookup Desire' shows up at Will's house to tell him that she's pregnant. Directed by Alfred Robbins, 2012, 84 min, USA, Drama, English
