Granite City Comic Con 2019 After Party
It wouldn't be Granite City Comic Con without our tradional after party, and this year we have two cracking acts making their GCCC debut - Level-Up Leroy and Gypsy Roots.
Level Up Leroy has played his unique blend of nerd video remixes and tracks at cons and after parties across the UK and internationally where he recently blew American audiences away at the New York Comic Con and Star Wars Celebration. Leroy's sets are the epitome of what being a DJ is about - abundant passion, amazing tunes, nimble mixing with light sprinkling of Nerdy Geekyness to really get the crowds going!
Gypsy Roots are a funk-dub-reggae-punk party machine! Six-piece Aberdeen punk-rock-reggae outfit have just released their debut single Everyday on local label Fat Hippy Records, and an album, Chanting Down The Babylon. They also won Eruption Battle of the Bands 2017/18 competition, as well as scooping up Best Live Act & Best Alternative Act at the recent Fudge Music Awards.
Run To Vega is a rock band from Aberdeen, the band has a lot of influence from a wide variety of styles and genres which makes for a versatile and energetic sound. As such, Run to Vega are known for their varied musical pallet. They were finalists in the 2018-2019 Eruption Battle of the Bands. They were also nominated in the Fudge Awards for Best 'Alternative' Act.
This year GCCC are taking over Unit 51, Carnegies Brae, from 9.30pm to late!
Tickets will also be available on the door for £10.00
