Good tofu is exquisite, like well-made cheese and fresh bread! Experience its excellence, learn to make your own, and master manipulating different kinds sold at mainstream and Asian markets. Savor tofu deliciousness with Andrea Nguyen, award-winning author of Asian Tofu: Discover the Best, Make Your Own, and Cook It at Home. Deemed an important game changer, the book was featured in Martha Stewart Living and many other publications.
In this 4-hour workshop, youll explore a wealth of pan-Asian tofu dishes, which range from snacks and main dishes to mock meats and desserts. A few fabulous pantry items are included too. Andrea will share shopping and cooking tips to help you prepare Asian tofu at home.
This is a 4-hour, hands-on class from 11am to 3pmso be prepared to cook, tinker, and have fun. There will be lots of eating too. The menu of dishes (most of which is meatless) includes:
- Homemade Tofu with Assorted Toppings and Herbs - Cellophane Noodle and Tofu Rice Paper Rolls (Bi Cuon Chay) - Chinese Chive and Pressed Tofu Turnovers (Jiu Cai He Zi) - Spicy Yuba Ribbons - Mapo Tofu (with beef) - Water Spinach with Fermented Tofu - Cashew and Cardamom Fudge (Soy Paneer Kaju Barfi) - Chile Oil - Japanese Seasoned Soy Concentrate - Chile and Sichuan Peppercorn Mix

Terms: After you register for this class, I will email you an Agreement and Release From Liability to review and agree to. The Release is a legal necessity because I am renting a facility for the class. Thanks in advance for understanding.
Cancellation Policy: A full refund less the modest registration process fee is available up to two weeks prior to the class date. If you need to cancel less than two weeks prior to the class date, you may request a credit to be used for another class within the calendar year. No refunds or credits will be issued less than 5 days before the class date.
