Summer BBQ for Fix Democracy First - August 10, 2019 - 4-7 pm

Do you believe in democracy? Do you believe it needs to be strengthened rather than weakened? Do you believe the system also needs to be adapted to become a more equitable system for all?

Join Fix Democracy First for a special outdoor summer BBQ to support Fix Democracy First's efforts working for the will of the people, not the power of big moneyed interests.

The event is being hosted by Debra Morrison & Joe Szwaja. We'll have some delicious food and drink, as well as some great music!

Hear about all the latest democracy wins here in Washington state, as well how implementation of the new laws is being rolled. We'll have have an open discussion on some of the latest reforms being focused on or considered for the next two years, including:

- Campaign Finance Reform & Expanding Public Funding in Elections
- Fair Courts & Judicial Independence
- Adopting Ranked Choice Voting & Proportional Representation
- Voter Outreach & Civic Engagement

Our democracy is at risk and this is a great way to support these important democracy efforts, as well as enjoy a great party!
