Lisa Smith and Something Wicked
Over the past decade, Smith has been voted Favorite Jazz Act three times by Lansing State Journal readers.
Known for her atypical interpretation of smooth, cool jazz, Smith transforms recognizable tunes into notable jazzy arrangements that draw in crowds year after year. Smiths laid back persona translates into an alluring stage presence which endears the audience to her delivery of jazz, R&B, and bluesy grooves. Smiths present who you are and play how you feel attitude makes for an approachable performance that endears her to pop jazz lovers time and again. Lisa is supported by a group of well-versed, solid musicians.
