Measles
Patricia (Patsy) Stinchfield, MS, CPNP, CIC is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Infectious Disease who specializes in vaccine preventable diseases. She is the Senior Director of Infection Prevention and Control at Childrens Minnesota. She is a widely recognized infectious diseases specialist, having served as the first Nurse voting member of the CDCs Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices where she continues as a liaison member today. She is currently serving as the Vice President for the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases Board of Directors. During her 30 years at Childrens she has led teams in response to outbreaks such as measles and H1N1 in diverse communities. Patsy led the Hospital Incident Command efforts at Childrens during the 2017 measles outbreak which was the largest in 30 years.
