About Sam Rae:
https://www.samraemusic.com/
Charleston based singer songwriter, Sam Rae brings her classical roots on the cello into a unique blend with folk-rock. Currently a cellist for Brandi Carlile, she has also collaborated and toured with Elephant Revival and Gregory Alan Isakov and. Her music tells stories of a spacious upbringing in Iowa that dance with her experiences as a queer, gender fluid creative. With roots in improvised cello looping she blends the traditional landscape of songwriting with the many musical textures of the cello, guitar and her vocals. She will be releasing her next full length album fall 2019.
About Aviva le Fey:
http://avivalefey.com/
Aviva sings heart songs some for love lost, and others for humanity forgotten with a tone and cadence that somehow conjures both the vintage pop of the Fifties and the dark, dreamy sounds you might hear coming from that haunted backwoods bar in 1990s Twin Peaks, Washington. She offers a frequency of hopefulness, a frequency to cry to, a frequency that begs you to dig a bit deeper. Her songs are honest and endearing, bold and restless, easy to listen to and sometimes hard to hear. Avivas music invites you to look into the dark cracks of everything it can be intimidating, but we all know thats how the light gets in.
Aviva is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist originally from the Bay Area, and has traveled far and wide to share her songs and play music with friends. Over the last few years, Aviva has supported John Craigie, Josiah Johnson (The Head & The Heart), Rainbow Girls, Kit Center & The Hollow Bones, and Chelsea Coleman, and shared the stage with Langhorne Slim, Tallest Man on Earth, Skyway Man, and Twain.
About Daniel Steinbock:
https://www.danielsteinbock.com/
Daniel Steinbock was born and raised on the California coast north of the Golden Gate, the only child of a sailor and a librarian. Days spent at sea and in the company of dead poets forged a young singer-songwriter in the sublime lyrical tradition of Sam Beam (Iron & Wine) and Neil Young. Pre-apocalyptic love songs and spare folk poems fill his song book with a rare spiritual nakedness: he conjures plights and ecstasies of soul and body that might have come from the pen of Walt Whitman, had Whitman left New York and wandered the American landscape through tent revival spirituals and Delta freedom songs to grow quiet and haikuist at the feet of giant California Redwoods.
