An Evening with Indian(-ish)
Join Lula Cafe as we welcome Priya Krishna to celebrate her best-selling cookbook Indian (-ish), Recipes and Antics from a Modern American Family. Celebrations will include drinks and snacks along with a bountiful family-style dinner influenced by the seasons and the stories which fill the colorful pages of Indian(-ish).
We are excited to host Priya Krishna, the thoughtful food writer whose work has appeared in the New York Times, Bon Appetit, the New Yorker, and Lucky Peach.
Of this evening, Krishna writes: Im so excited to be partnering with Lula Café. This restaurant is the common denominator across all my trips to Chicago the place that most makes me feel like I'm stepping into someone's home. It only felt right to partner with Lula for the launch of my cookbook, Indian-ish, which is all about inviting readers into my home, where saag feta and caramelized onion dal are my family's comfort food. This is going to be a really fantastic night, melding the bold, inventive flavors of my cookbook with the bright and effortless style that makes Lula such an inviting place.
Tickets include food, beverage, and gratuity as well as signed copy of Krishnas Indian(-ish).
