Woodland Food Closet's Fabulous Fiesta
Its Fiesta time!
Support the Woodland Food Closet by attending the 2nd Annual Fabulous Fiesta, August 22nd at the Historic Hotel Woodland. Doors open at 6:00 and dinner will be served at 6:30. Guests will enjoy a delicious fiesta-themed dinner catered by Cracchiolos, live entertainment, and an interactive and educational Tequila Tasting event.
For over 50 years the Woodland Food Closet has worked to alleviate hunger in our community. As a grassroots nonprofit we do this by providing a minimum of 3 days worth of food to individuals and families who have been referred to us from local social service agencies, schools, churches, and other non-profit organizations. We have a cadre of dedicated volunteers who sort, pack, and distribute the food Monday through Friday, all year round.
Community support has kept the Woodland Food Closet running smoothly for over a half century. With your attendance the Fabulous Fiesta will allow us to continue to fulfill our mission of providing groceries to those who are facing an emergency food crisis in Yolo County.
