La Cage aux Folles

Directed by Elizabeth Costello, with musical direction by Josh Landin, choreography by Evelyn Barney, Gianna Nemie Landin, and Makana Livermore

Much revived, most recently in a 2010 Tony Award-winning production, "La Cage Aux Folles" remains one of Broadways all-time biggest hits! After twenty years of un-wedded bliss Georges and Albin, two men partnered for better-or-worse, get a bit of both when Georges son (fathered during a one-night fling) announces his impending marriage to the daughter of a bigoted, right-wing politician. Further complicating the situation is the family business: Albin and Georges run a drag nightclub in St. Tropez, where Albin is the star performer Zaza. Georges reluctantly agrees to masquerade as normal when he meets the family of the bride-to-be. But Albin has other plans, with hilarious results!

The play runs August 2-18, 2019. Performances are Friday, August 2 and Saturday, August 3 at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, August 4 at 2:00 p.m.; Friday, August 9 and Saturday, August 10 at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, August 11 at 2:00 p.m.; Friday, August 16 at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, August 17 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday August 18 at 2:00 p.m.

All performances are in an intimate, cabaret-style theatre, with refreshments including beer, wine & specialty cocktails available before & during all shows.
