Join NYCHORAL music staff and singers as we preview selections from our upcoming seasons. Our conductors will lead us in a short rehearsal and run-through, followed by a reception with refreshments. Come learn about and sing glorious music, meet NYCHORAL, and enjoy refreshments afterward!
Mozart Requiem with Associate Conductor Michael A. Ciavaglia
Soloists: Peace Denenu, Katherine Burns, John Unrath, Logan Pitts
NYCHORAL's Associate Conductor, Michael A. Ciavaglia will lead us through everyone's favorite movements of the Mozart Requiem: Introit/Kyrie, Dies irae, Tuba mirum, Confutatis, and Lacrymosa.
Who should come? All are welcome! Current or past NYCHORAL singers, those interested in joining the chorus, anyone who just loves to sing, or even non-singers intrigued to glance "behind the curtain" at the rehearsal process!
Suggested donation of $15 includes air-conditioned venue, piano accompanist, soloists; music scores available to borrow, and refreshments to follow the Sing.
Location is Holy Trinity Church, 316 E. 88th St., between 2nd and 1st avenue (enter at gate nearest 2nd Ave., up the steps on the right to Draesel Hall).
