August 17, 2013 - Silicon Valley Roller Girls - Flat Track Roller Derby

The Silicon Valley Roller Girls present Skate-rix: Revolutions on Saturday, August 17 at San Jose Skate, located at 397 Blossom Hill Road, San Jose, CA, 95123.

It's a new world at SVRG... we invite you to take the red pill and experience the mind-blowing reality of our newly revamped team, The Hard Drivers. In their home debut, watch the Hard Drivers take on the Undead Bettys' The Damned Skaters from Antioch in a blood-thirsty bout of redemption. First whistle will be at 6pm. Then at 8pm, Silicon Valley's KillaBytes take on the Beasts of Eden from the Monterey Bay Derby Dames.

Score the best seats, a free cup of beer, and a dedicated SVRG waitress in our trackside VIP section. The VIP section is now open to all ages.

Doors open at 5:30pm for both General Admission and VIP. Arrive early to claim your seat. Don't forget to visit our infamous beer garden (ages 21+ only) for a cup of PBR, one of four delicious brews from Strike Brewery, or a glass of chilled Stefania wine. Our revamped merchandise will be available for purchase, as well as the wares of a number of different vendors.

Skate-rix: Revolutions will feature fun, Matrix-themed entertainment, including a contest for best slow-motion bullet dodge, with prizes donated from our fantastic sponsors.

A portion of bout proceeds will be donated to Sacred Heart Community Service, a local organization dedicated to ensure every child and adult are free from poverty.
